Scheduled for recording and release in 2021, COPUS has been working on fresh new tracks including the title song The Dilemma. For all of our true audiophile fans and friends, we will be distributing a limited number of this album on vinyl only. Be engaged. Be ready. It's a monster!
In the meantime, we're offering up some really quality TRUTH merchandise including designer masks, coffee mugs, Word Tshirts, and the best of COPUS via downloadable tracks available at the official COPUS website. Make it a gift to yourself! Us too. Join in on the support of independent artists. Be down with Creation Of Peace Under Stars. New days abound!
Climate Music
In October 2019, COPUS premiered What if We? at the World Bank and Forest Trends in Washington DC. Composed by Wendy Loomis with poetics by Royal Kent, the work was created in collaboration with the amazing science team from The ClimateMusic Project.
We had numerous Bay Area performances of the piece scheduled for 2020, but alas we know how that worked out. In the meantime, however, you can check out our participation / composition - and that of other composers - demonstrating the ornate collaborative efforts between scientists and musicians and the cool work they are doing at The ClimateMusic Project. It's pretty impressive how they are raising awareness about climate change with science and sound! We anticipate further dynamic collaborative works together ahead in 2021.
Love and respect
